Lauren Benser is a registered dietitian specializing in women's health, weight loss medication support, gut health and cardiovascular nutrition. With over a decade of expertise in clinical nutrition, research and program development, she is a trusted resource for both patients and healthcare providers seeking science-backed, sustainable nutrition strategies.
Lauren is the founder of Lauren Benser Nutrition, where she provides targeted support for women navigating perimenopause, menopause and GLP-1 weight loss medications. She also works with individuals wanting to shift towards a plant forward diet, support heart health, lower cholesterol, implement nutrition practices that reduce risk for diabetes and overall support longterm health.
Lauren’s career spans roles in clinical and outpatient settings, including cardiac rehabilitation, bariatrics, wellness programs and hospital-based nutrition management. She has developed and led innovative nutrition programs, such as the 21-Day Gut Reset, corporate wellness initiatives, and hands-on cooking workshops, making food enjoyable and fun. She has served as a sub-investigator in Phase III obesity trials, collaborating with medical teams to integrate effective nutrition interventions for patients on GLP-1 medications.
